I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching Science and Math. I graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. I also minored in Biomedical Sciences. After I graduated, I worked as an HIV/AIDS volunteer for two years in Botswana. Currently, I am attending medical school with the goal of eventually becoming a pediatrician. I have experience tutoring students at an elementary school level all the way through to the collegiate level. I am comfortable teaching a wide range of subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, Biology, and Spanish. I love working with children, and I'm currently employed as a nanny.My favorite aspect of tutoring is the moment when a student fully comprehends a complex subject. I have experience teaching students from a wide variety of backgrounds, which has helped me realize that every student has a learning style that works best for them. Whenever I tutor someone, I make sure to change my teaching style to match each student's ideal learning style. In my free time, I like to engage in a variety of outdoor activities such as gardening, camping, rock climbing, stargazing, and skydiving. I also enjoy traveling, photography, blogging, and meditating.
