ExperienceMy philosophy in tutoring is to find a student's style of learning, and adapt the material and lessons to their needs. I am open to working with anyone who wishes to learn something new; although, the subjects most enjoyable for me to teach are Reading, French, and Math. I hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees. My first is in French Language and Literature and the second is in Communication Studies. In addition, I received my master's in teaching English as a Second Language. I have extensive experience working with families and children who are bilingual through the Honolulu library. I work with many immigrants, from adults to young children, to increase their language to make their lives easier with their new language proficiency. I strengthened my French language skills by completing 5 months of study through a University in France. Additionally, I have held a position as a bilingual customer service rep. When I am not teaching or tutoring, you can find me doing yoga, meditating, hiking, attending concerts, or doing all styles dance.
